so i was brushing my teeth this morning. being a photographer, my eyes always wander around while doing something else. with that said, while i was in the bathroom, i can’t help myself but notice my sister’s toothbrush holder. it holds two toothbrush and a bigger hole for toothpaste. it reminded me of a smiley face. after noticing that, i started to see “smiley” faces on most objects around the bathroom. i was whatever with it and then when i started surfing through facebook, i saw my friend’s profile picture of his rootbeer float and the vanilla ice cream made a smiley face.
time went by and i decided to go to starbucks cause i’ve been stuck at home the whole day and was so bummed. i’m currently at starbucks writing this and thought to myself, why don’t i start a new project with series of photos that resembles smiley faces.
with the whole idea falling right together, i decided that i’m gonna try to do this project and keep it going as long as i can. i know its been done before so i thought i’d make it more interesting by adding captions to the smiley faces to somewhat tell a story.
i think it would be a really cool project even though its a really cliche thing that other photographers did/do. while i develop the idea more, i’ll keep posting random photos that i take on my downtime so keep checking my blog for updates!!!
check my facebook fan page as well and “like” it. =]

sounds like a cool project.
i had a similar experience, but i was seeing those frowning smileys. The frowns kept getting deeper, to the point where I felt it best to return to bed and pull the covers over my head until it stopped.
I did the same thing a while back. I had a tooth brush cover. The plastic knob where the lid opened looked like a nose and the crease was the mouth. I drew two eyes on it. Anybody that saw it couldn’t stop laughing.
